Summary[]
Top Cat calls The Gang by banging ash can lids. When their neighbor, Mr. Blister complains, Officer Dibble says T.C. must not clang anymore, so the cats decide to move. They march down the streets and right out of the city, then stow away on a truck until it hits a big bump and ejects them.
They land next to a cow pasture, so T.C. decides to go get some milk. The "cow" he spied is really a bull which chases him away. He stops to smell some flowers, but a bee chases him too. He runs until he trips and falls into a duck pond. Fed up with the country, he decides to move home again and his friends celebrate. The ducks start quacking too, so loudly that T.C. wishes he had some ear muffs. This gives him an idea.
On the way home, they stop at a department store. T.C. buys three pairs of ear muffs and gives them to Mr. Blister, so he will never have to hear the clanging again.
